Safe Haven
Safe Haven Crafts is an activity run by volunteers from Bethania Church Community. For several years has given people with learning difficulties the opportunity to be creative and achieve something to be proud of in a loving, caring environment. Safe Haven Crafts provides a basic introduction to various crafts, such as:
-
Card making
-
Stained glass effect pictures
-
Knitting and crochet
-
Jewellery
-
Porcelain Painting
Meeting times for the group are: term-time every Tuesday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Bethania Chapel, County Road, Leeswood CH7 4RF
Safe Haven Crafts is affordable and participants – affectionately known as ‘craftees‘ – pay only £5 per 2-hour session. The carers that bring craftees attend free of charge.
Refreshments are available. If a participant or carer have special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will make every effort to accommodate.
As of 17th March 2020 Safe Haven has been suspended in line with government guidelines on social distancing during the pandemic.
